Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Xenia, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: to provide all the necessary labor, equipment and materials for the stone masonry restoration and repairs to the culvert located in the vicinity of U.S. Route 68 and N. Galloway Street in Xenia, Ohio, as directed by the City Engineer and in accordance with the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans and/or Drawings included in the bid packets. The estimated cost of the Project will not exceed $120,000.00. Pursuant to ORC Section 153.54, no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond for the full amount of the bid -OR- a cashier's check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Xenia, or a letter of credit issued in accordance with ORC Chapter 1305., in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be enclosed with the sealed bid. The attention of Bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions contained in ORC Chapter 4115, governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on this Project, and also to ORC 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The City of Xenia reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any discrepancies or irregularities in the Bids. The Bid will be awarded, in the City's discretion, to the lowest and best Bidder.
