Project Title: Snow removal and preventive inspection of roofs for CSSDM schools Solicitation number: 15-365P Description of work: The purpose of this call for tenders is to retain a specialized contractor who will carry out, on request: Roof snow removal for all CSSDM schools at an hourly rate;
The preventive inspection of the roofs of sixteen (16) school establishments at a fixed price (see list of establishments for the preventive inspection of establishments by sector, (appendix XIII). The roof plans for the establishments to be inspected will be published with the documents of the call for tenders.
No renewal option. No details on the estimated value of the total or partial contract will be provided. YOU Performance Guarantee : The guarantee may be presented in any of the following forms: a certified check for an amount equivalent to 10% of the amount of the contract;
an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a financial institution for an amount equivalent to 10% of the amount of the contract;
A performance bond in an amount equivalent to 10% of the amount of the contract, issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (RSQ, c. A-32) authorizing it to practice suretyship insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (RSQ, c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (RSQ, c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (SC, 1991, c. 46), according to the form provided in Schedule V.
It should be noted that the amount of the performance guarantee may change depending on the increase in the scope of the mandates and the risk exposure of the CSSDM with the contractor. As bid security, only the surety bond and the irrevocable letter of guarantee are accepted when transmitting a bid electronically. No other form of guarantee is accepted with this mode of transmission. If the tender documents provide for another form of tender guarantee and the service provider wishes to rely on it, the tender must be submitted exclusively in paper form. It is the entire responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that the documents are deposited at 5100 Sherbrooke Street East, 1st floor, Montreal (Quebec), H1V 3R9 on the date and time provided for in this call for tenders and delivered by hand. by hand to the Supply Office. It is important to allow sufficient time for access and submission of bids. The CSSDM cannot be held responsible for delays related to access management in the context of a pandemic. The CSSDM does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. The tender documents must be obtained directly and exclusively from the tender sytem. No list of document takers will be provided by the owner.
