Renovation of a municipal facility in Santa Monica, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 331,133-square-foot municipal facility.

The last day to submit questions for clarification is November 1, 2022. Questions can only be asked via OpenGov Procurement thru the "Question and Answer" tab. CONTRACT DAYS: 270 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $1,250.00 The Contractor is required to have a Class A or C-16 license at the time of bid submission. Contractors wishing to be considered must submit Bids containing all information required pursuant to the Citys Request for Bids. Pursuant to Public Contracts Code Section 22300, the Contractor shall be permitted to substitute securities for any monies withheld by the City to ensure performance under this Contract. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $2,388,000 1. DEMOLISH EXISTING WET PIPE FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS PROTECTING THE SANTA MONICA PIER. 2. INSTALL 14 NEW WET PIPE FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS PER NPFA 13 AND NFPA 307, WHICH WILL PROTECT THE SANTA MONICA PIER ONLY. 3. REPLACE THE EXISTING DOUBLE CHECK DETECTOR ASSEMBLY (DCDA). 4. INSTALL TWO (2) NEW FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS (FDC). 5. REPLACE THE EXISTING DEDICATED FUNCTION FIRE ALARM SYSTEM MONITORING FLOW AND TAMPER SWITCHES FOR THE FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. 6. THE NEW DEDICATED FUNCTION NOTIFIER FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 6.1. NOTIFIER NFS2-3030 ADDRESSABLE FACU COMPLETE WITH DIGITAL ALARM COMMUNICATION TRANSMITTER. 6.2. ADDRESSABLE MONITOR MODULES TO MONITOR UPGRADED SPRINKLER WATERFLOW SWITCHES, SPRINKLER SUPERVISORY VALVE SWITCHES. 6.3. ADDRESSABLE CEILING MOUNTED SMOKE DETECTOR (ABOVE FACU). 6.4. TWO REMOTE ANNUNCIATORS.
