The Hall County Schools Board of Education is requesting proposals from interested and qualified Construction Firms for the construction of the Academies of Discovery Museum & Lab Addition, Gainesville, Georgia. Construction work shall be coordinated with the Hall County School District as directed by the school system's owner's representative following the competitive process. Completion of construction shall be no later July 18, 2023. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Construction of a new 3,457 S.F. Museum and Lab Addition. 2. Expansion of existing aluminium walkway canopy. 3. Expansion of outdoor construction work area. 4. Modifications of monumental entrance sign. 5. Interior renovations & Site improvements. The procedures for public works construction contracts as established by the Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law, O.C.G.A., 36-91-1 shall be followed.
