1. Size: 1 Inch Ips Sdr 9 2. Shall Meet the Requirements of the Latest Revision of Awwa C901/c906, Astm D2239, Astm D2737, Astm D3035, Astm F714 and Nsf Standard 61 Where Applicable. 3. Shall Be Labeled With Blue or White Lettering Containing at a Minimum the Manufacturers Name, Nominal Pipe Size, Sdr, Type of Material, Month and Year of Manufacture and the Plant Location Code. All Pipe to Have a Minimum of 3 Longitudinal Blue Stripeoriented at 120 From Each Other. 4. Must Meet or Exceed Cell Classification 445574c Cc3 Per Astm D3350. 5. Pipe Shall Be Supplied in 20 Feet Lengths. 6. Manufacture Date Must Be No More Than 24 Months Out Before Date of Delivery. 7. The Polyethylene Source Resin Shall Have a Ppi Tr-4 Independent Listing, and the Pipe Manufacturer Shall Maintain a Dependent Listing, Also in Conformance With Ppi Tr4. 8. All Rework, if Used, Shall Meet All Requirements of Awwa C901 or C906 Whichever is Applicable and Be Generated From the Same Manufacturing Facility as the Supplied Pipe. Rework Material Shall Not Exceed 10% of Material Used to Produce Pipe. 9. The Pe4710 Shall Be Well Processed to Maximize Homogenization to Minimize or Eliminate Un-pigmented Zones Across the Pipe Wall Cross-section. The Hdpe 4710 Pipe Shall Be Capaof Butt-fusion Across the Entire Range of Both Heater Plate Temperatures and Interfacial Pressof Astm F2620. Fused Pipe Must Be Able to Pass a Mcelroy Side Bend Test. Mandrel Curvature to Specimen Thickness to Be 2:1 (R/t=2/1). 10. Pipe Shall Be Shipped With End Caps to Prevent Contamination During Shipping and Storage.
