**As of November 9, 2022, project was awarded to Central Alabama Asphalt for both Contract A - Street Resurfacing $478,984 and , awarded Contract B - Miscellaneous Paving $61,024 ** This project consists of: Contract A - Street Resurfacing (2,915 tons of asphalt) of 8th Street (south Haleyville), Beech Grove Road, 11th Avenue (from Newburg Road to 28th Street), and Hickory Avenue and Oak Street in the Hill Top Subdivision. Contract B - Miscellaneous Paving (380 tons of asphalt) to patch 14th Avenue, patch Byler Road, and resurface the walking track behind the Neighborhood Facilities Building. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bids shall be submitted in the contract specifications book as issued by the Engineer.
