Site work and paving for a civil project in Hooksett, New Hampshire. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 18 2025, this project is in working drawings complete, but the town voted it down. This will be road work and a new bridge. The Town of Hooksett is seeking professional Engineering Services for the reconfiguration of the intersection of Martins Ferry Road and North River Road. The purpose of the forthcoming Request for Proposals is to engage the services of a professional engineering firm to provide the services necessary to assist in addressing the issues outlined below: o Roadway Realignment o Bridge Rail Improvements o Potential Bridge Improvements o Wetland/Environmental Analysis o Right of Way Survey o Safety Improvements o Utility Analysis and Design o Southern New Hampshire University Gateway Improvements o Address any other issues with the intersection as needed o Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Details o Assist the Town in Contractor Selection. o Construction Monitoring/Inspection of work Consideration will be given to responses to this Notice without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, sex, marital status or disability or other handicap.
