The Work Consists of Work at Site La-33-6 (Claudia Circle) Will Consist of General Interior and Exterior Modernization Work at 3 Living Units (Units 143, 144 & 152), Including Exterior & Interior Doors, Frames, Trim & Hardware, New Flooring, Base and Shoe Mold, New Kitchen Cabinets & Countertops, New Plumbing Fixtures, New Hot Water Heater, New Electrical Wiring & Devices Up to and Including Electrical Panel, New Light Fixtures, Gwb Work at Walls and Ceilings, New Synthetic Marble Tub/shower Surround and Wainscot, Painting of All Interior Areas. At Sites La-33-2 & 3b (Bowman Hicks) Work Will Consist of Removal and Replacement, Including Priming and Painting, of Exterior Steel Columns, and Removal and Replacement of Deteriorated Finish Existing Painted Aluminum Fascia Covering/s. Replace With New Vinyl Coated Aluminum Coilstock Material. This is a U.s. Department of Housing and Urban Development Assisted Project. Attention of Bidders is Particularly Called to the Requirements as to Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract. Successful Contractor Will Not Discriminate Against Any Employee or Applicant for Employment Because of Race, Creed, Color, Sex, Age, or National Origin. Contract, if Awarded, Will Be on a Lump-sum Basis to a Bidder Licensed Under the Provisions of the Contractors Licensing Law of the State of Louisiana. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of 60 Days After the Time and Date of Opening. Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent of Base Bid. Both Performance and Payment Bonds Will Be Required in an Amount Equal to 100 Percent of the Contract Price. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities and Informalities.
