For the following: 3M STREET/ROAD NAME SIGNS All signs must meet specifications according to the U.S. Department of Transportation Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices 2009 with Revision Numbers 1, 2, and 3 incorporated, dated July 2022 and in addition to design specifications developed by FHWA in the 2004 Edition and 2012 Supplement of Standard Highway Signs. Signs must be bid with 3M High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting. The supplier will be required to send a certified statement verifying that all signs supplied under this contract meets the specifications for 3M High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting. All specifications must be adhered to, no variances will be accepted. Supplier must be able to provide street/road name signs within one (1) working day of the order placement due to the Ascension Parish Governments responsibility to maintain street/road name signs for the 911 Emergency Response System. Signs will be ordered as needed. Quantities are estimated quantities. This is an all or none bid. The bid award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to result in the lowest total cost to the Parish of Ascension. Each bidder is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of its bid. The bid shall be valid for one (1) year. For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call portal at 225-810-4814 The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any bid, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
