Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a 16,107-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Carroll High Band Building Renovations & Additions BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond or certified check or cashier's check or prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A must be attached to and made a part of the bid. If a bid bond is provided, it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form. Bid Bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion time of 365 days.
