PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Bid Package is for the membrane roofing scope of work and for the early procurement of switchboards and liquid-filled transformers at the new 160,000 sq. ft. Kalamazoo RESA CTE Center being constructed on several parcels bounded by I-94, Sprinkle, & Vanrick. BID PACKAGES: 7.5 Membrane Roofing 26.2 Medium-Voltage Electrical Switchboards & Liquid-Filled Transformer Procurement BID BOND: Bid bond or certified check of not less than 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with bid and made payable to Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency. PREVAILING WAGE: This is not a prevailing wage project. BIDDERS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Submission cut-off date is October 27, 2022, 3:00 PM. FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP DISCLOSURE: All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Kalamazoo RESA or the Superintendent of the School District. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. IRAN ECONOMIC SANCTIONS ACT: Additionally, each bid shall be accompanied by a disclosure statement indicating that they have not been doing business with companies having ties with the country of Iran in accordance with the Iran Sanctions Act. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The base bid shall be a lump sum amount, for the work as set forth in the bid documents. CONTRACT SECURITY: Cost for Payment and Performance Bonds to be submitted as an alternate.
