Renovation of a fire / police facility in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Jessamine County Fire District is accepting sealed bids for flat rubber roofing replacement located at Station 6, 149 Bellerive Boulevard in Nicholasville, KY. The scope of work should include the following: Remove existing wall and penetration flashings in preparation for new roof assembly installation. Remove the roof system completely. All debris will disposed of according to local codes & regulations, Mechanically attach a minimum of two layers of layers 2.6" Poly Iso (r-value 30) to meet current building code. Install fully adhered 60 mil TPO roof system (Firestone, Carlisle, or Johns-Manville), color white, over the entire roof area including perimeter parapet walls creating a watertight membrane. Flash all existing roof top penetrations to Firestone Specifications. Fabricate and install 24-gauge Kynar finished coping along perimeter parapet wall in a color matching existing color. Fabricate and install 24-gauge Kynar finished gutter edge in color matching existing color; the gutter will be left in place. JCFD reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and/or technicalities in any Bid or Bid Guarantee.
