The goal of this SDMP Project is to provide an actionable planning document that will supply uniformity to the decision-making process and future management of the storm drain infrastructure assets. It should include: Establishment of a comprehensive risk rating system for use in identifying and prioritizing infrastructure replacement needs; A condition assessment of the City's existing stormwater infrastructure including strategic inspections; Hydrologic and integrated 1D/2D hydraulic modeling of the City's existing stormwater infrastructure system; Recommendations to resolve challenges related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit and Waste Discharge Requirements for Discharges from the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems; Identify key future Capital Improvement Projects to resolve existing problem areas and future issues including collection, conveyance, stormwater treatment, and detention; and A financial analysis and proposed plan.
