Description: St. Johns River State College invites general, building, mechanical, civil (site work), and roofing contractors, not currently pre-qualified, to apply for pre-qualified contractor status with the College for Calendar Year 2023 (January-December 2023). Certificates of Pre-qualification are required in order to respond to competitive solicitations issued by the College for construction related and site work projects at each of its campuses in Orange Park, Palatka and St. Augustine during this pre-qualification period. If you are currently pre-qualified in the Calendar Year 2022 period and wish to apply to renew your certificate for the upcoming Calendar Year 2023 period, you are on the wrong page. You must respond to RFQ-SJR-15-2022 which is for certificate renewals. Web Page: This web page is updated as the RFQ process progresses and applicants must monitor this page for updates, information, schedules, addenda to the specifications document if any, and notices. RFQs received by the deadline will be evaluated in a public meeting starting at 1:30 p.m. on November 16, 2022, in Room A-152 at SJR State, 5001 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL. RFQ awards are expected at the DBOT meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2022, at SJR State, Room A-154, 5001 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL. The basis for award of prequalified contractor status is for firms to meet all RFQ specifications. SJR State reserves the right to reject any or all responses received, to waive any or all informalities in regards thereto, and to award certificates which are in the best interest of the College.
