The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the "River Pier Base - Maintenance Repairs" project for the Mid-Hudson, Walkway Over the Hudson and Newburgh-Beacon Bridges, between Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties in New York. The scope for this project involves river pier access, pier base crack repairs, repointing, partial depth concrete repairs, caulking, applying concrete sealer, etc, as detailed in the contract drawings. Bid Deposit: 25% bid bond or $50,000 certified or cashier's check is required to validate the proposer's bid. The apparent low bidder shall present evidence of experience and financial stability. The bidder shall comply with the terms of the Notice to Bidders, including Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% * These goods or services have been purchased from an out-of-state/foreign vendor within the past three years. Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.
