Renovation of a municipal facility in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of November 15,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of East St. Louis is requesting bids for work to be performed at 301 River Park Drive, East Saint Louis, Illinois. The City is currently looking for a company that can provide the services as outlined in the scope of work below. The required services and performance conditions are described in the Scope of Work. The City of East St. Louis encourages certified MBEs and WBEs to submit bids in accordance with the terms and conditions required. The City of East St. Louis shall not be responsible for the premature open-ing of a Proposal, which is not properly addressed or identified. Late Pro-posals will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject all bids, to request additional informa-tion concerning any bid for purposes of clarification, to accept or negotiate any modification to any bid following the deadline for receipt of all bid, and to waive any irregularities if such would serve the best interests of the City. Bidders shall file all documents necessary to support their bid and include them with their bid. Bidders shall be responsible for the actual delivery of bids during business hours to the address indicated above. It shall not be sufficient to show that the bid was mailed in time to be received before scheduled closing time. The City of East St. Louis shall not be responsible for the premature opening of a bid, which is not properly addressed or identified. Late bids will not be considered. All bids shall become the property of the City. 1.2 Each of the a Proposals Shall Include the Following Information at a Minimum: a. Copy of the RFB b. City Registration if applicable (Contact Regulatory Affairs Dept.) c. Company Profile d. Proposal/Bids e. Proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance f. Disclosure Affidavit g. Vendor Information Request Form h. W9 i. Addenda Acknowledgement (if applicable) J. Affidavit of Participation k. Contractor's MBEJWBE Self Declaration Form (if applicable) I. Subcontractor Affidavit (if applicable) m. Equal Opportunity Clause 1.3 Entire Packet: It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure they have re-ceived the entire Request for Bid (RFB). Addenda: Bidders will be notified in writing of any change in the specifications contained in this RFB. 1.5 Verbal or Written Information: No verbal or written information which is obtained other than through this RFB or its addenda shall be binding on the City of East St. Louis. No employee of the City of East St. Louis is authorized to interpret any por-tion of this RFB or give information as to the requirements of the RFB in addition to that contained in or amended to this written RFB document. 1.6 Right of Rejection and Clarification: The City of East St. Louis reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to request clarification of information from any bidder. The City of East St. Louis is not obligated to enter into a contract on the basis of any bid submitted in response to this document. SECTION II SCOPE OF SERVICE The City of East St. Louis is requesting bids for work to be performed at 301 River Park Drive, East Saint Louis, Illinois.The City is currently looking fora company that can provide the services as outlined in the scope of work below. GENERAL BID REQUIREMENTS The City of East St. Louis is requesting bids for work to be performed at 301 River Park Drive, East Saint Louis, Illinois.The City is currently looking fora company that can provide the services as outlined in the scope of work below. The City seeks a company that will work with the City to provide the best quality of work for its local businesses. The selected Vendor will be our primary source for the following: Offices and storage area o Remove and replace 1,950 Square foot of ceiling tile o Remove and replace 1,250 Square foot of carpet squares in office area o Remove and replace 650 Square foot of vinyl tile in storage area o Remove and replace all wall base 512 Linear foot o Remove and replace 35 flat panel's 2x4 led lighting 4000 lumens o Paint all walls 2 coats 4700 Square foot oRemove and replace Office information countertop 7ft by 18 inches commercial grade o Remove and replace office information window7ft by 3ft or 21 square feet o Remove and replace upper and lower cabinetry in storage area 10 linear feet o Remove and replace countertop in storage area 10 linear feet o Remove and reset all furniture Bathroom Remodel o Construct 8x10 feet bathroom from ground up o Framing o Drywall o Flooring o Electrical o Lighting o Plumbing will be accessed from basement (must see to evaluate) o 30-inch door installation o 36" vanity/top1mirror o 17" high toilet o Electric hand dryer o Proper ventiation o ADA grab bars The City will select the successful bid based upon several evaluation factors: including features as outlined in this RFB. The selection of finalists and the final award will be decided based on the bid submitted bya qualified vendor that best meets the needs of the City as determined by the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
