Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Batesville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Per the owner, as of July 10, 2024, a design team and a general contractor have been selected and the project has been completed. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............... Independence County, Arkansas, is interested in acquiring the services of an engineer to provide the necessary services for the design and construction of various infrastructure and economic development improvements including but not limited to roads, parking lots, water/sewer, bridges and drainage. The project is proposed to be funded by various state and/or federal loan/grant programs, including, but not limited to, Funds from the Delta Regional Authority, Arkansas Economic Development Commission, American Rescue Act Funds, Economic Development Administration and USDA Rural Development. Procedures for selection of an engineer will be in accordance with procurement requirements of the state. Independence County is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
