Additions & Alterations to Baldwin, Choctaw and Dallas County Health Departments for The Alabama Public Health Care Authority The general scope of the work includes, but is not limited to, miscellaneous exterior and interior improvements. Prequalification is required for this project. Only General Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Owner, will be eligible to bid the Project. The pre-qualification procedure is intended to identify responsible and competent bidders relative to the requirements of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to waive technical errors in applications or abandon the pre-qualification process. Pre-qualification proposal package requirements may be obtained from the office of Robins & Morton. The deadline for receipt of pre-qualification submittals is seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid due date. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Alabama Public Health Care Authority in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bid Documents (Drawings and Specifications) may be examined at the Office of the Architect. Digital PDF copies of Bid Documents shall be provided to all Pre-qualified General Contractors. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All questions referring to the actual Bid Documents shall only be submitted by email to the Architect's representative.
