Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sunbelt Fresh Water Supply District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Oakwilde Water Line Replacement, Phase VI Installation of approx. 9,500 LF of 8-inch water line to replace existing 2-inch and 6-inch water lines. The work also includes the installation of fire hydrants and gate valves throughout and the installation of new service leads and adjustment of existing water meters. Work is located in the Oakwilde Subdivision. Key Map No. 413-R, 414-N. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found electronically. All qualified bidders will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375, and Supplemental in Department of Labor regulations 41 CFR part 60. Qualified Minority, Women and Disadvantaged, and Business Enterprise (M/W/DBE) firms are invited to participate in the bidding process. This project will be federally funded by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department through the Harris County Community Services Department (HCCSD). Applicable requirements include, but are not limited to, compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Fair Labor Standards Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and contracting with small, minority and disadvantage firms, as detailed in this project manual. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Owner, TWDB, and HCCSD reserve the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board, TWDB, and HCCSD's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
