Site work for a road / highway in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Contract if and when awarded will be on the basis of information contained in the Bid Documents and other information as requested. Bids must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the proposal closing. The city of Marietta reserves the right to award the work on whatever basis is in the best interest of the City and to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in the bids. The City ofMarietta wishes to install trees shrubs and groundcover on the North and Southwest intersection of South Marietta Parkway and US-41. The City of Marietta also wishes to install a Marietta District Monument on the Northwest corner ofthe intersection of South Marietta Parkway and US-41. Work that is to be performed includes site work necessary to construct a Gateway Monument as shown on the plans. The Contractor is required to contact "Dig Safe" prior to doing any excavation on the site. If any work is to be done around underground utilities, the appropriate authority ofthat utility must be notified of the impending work. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damages done by himself or his workmen to existing utilities, which shall be repaired or paid for by the Contracto
