Question deadline: 10/21/2022 at 2:00 PM The RI Resource Recovery Corporation is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following work to be performed at its facility located in the Town of Johnston, RI. This project will include the installation of an estimated 5.4 acres of a minimum 40-mil HDPE geomembrane material and connections of geomembrane to stormwater culverts and concrete walls associated with the Stormwater Pond 2 improvements project. This project will occur over one construction season, and is expected to be completed during the 2022 calendar year. The major items to be provided for the work will include, but are not limited to: Geomembrane installation, HDPE batten bar installation, geomembrane connection to concrete walls and boots around stormwater culverts. It is expected that project award will occur within 60 calendar days of the public bid opening, but may extend as long as 120 calendar days from bid opening date. The Contractor shall keep, at the site, a copy of the Drawings and Specifications and shall at all times give the Owner access thereto. Anything mentioned in the Specifications and not shown on the Drawings, or shown on the Drawings and not mentioned in the Specifications, shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both. In case of differences between the Drawings and Specifications, the Specifications shall govern. In case of discrepancy either in the figures in the Drawings, or in the Specifications, the matter shall be promptly submitted to the Owner and Project Manager, who shall promptly make a determination in writing. Any adjustment by the Contractor without such determination shall be at his/her own risk and expense. The Owner may furnish from time-to-time such detail drawings and other information as may be considered necessary, unless otherwise provided.
