Last week, city staff moved to temporary workspaces at other city buildings and offices as workers began demolishing the interior walls and ceilings of the City Hall building located at 511 Mercer St. _____________________________________________________________________________________ The Dripping Springs City Offices Remodel Project generally includes: Interior Demolition; 7,153 Square Feet Remodel and Reconstruction of Interior Offices, Bathrooms, Common Areas and Other Spaces; Including associated HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing. Proposals must be submitted on City of Dripping Springs forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable proposal security in the form of a cashier's check or bond, payable to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Respondent. The successful Respondent must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. Should this solicitation fail to contain sufficient information in order for interested firms to obtain a clear understanding of the services required by the City, or should it appear that the instructions outlined in the solicitation are not clear or are contradictory, any interested firm may in writing request clarification from Chad Gilpin, P.E., no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024. The interested firm shall email a copy of the written clarification request to Chad Gilpin, at cgilpin@cityofdrippingsprings.com and Written requests from interested firms and written responses by the City will be provided to all Applicants. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and any nonconforming proposal and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the proposal due date. Proposals shall remain firm for that period.
