Sealed bids shall be received at or precious to the hour designated in this notice, however none shall be received thereafter. Each bidder must submit its bid on the proposal forms supplied with the bidding documents. For a bid to be considered it must be submitted in compliance with the requirements set forth in the specifications and on the forms provided by the Freehold Township Fire District #1. The completed bidding documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing he mane and address of the bidder and marked as follows: "Proposal for Renovation" Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashers check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. Checks shall be made payable to the Freehold Township Fire District #1. All bids submitted shall remain valid for sixty (60) days following the date of receipt of bids. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall give satisfactory performances guarantees for the faithful performances of the work required until said contract is fulfilled. The Board reserves to itself the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities and to award the contract as may appear to be in the best interests of the Freehold Township District Company #1. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Freehold Township Fire District #1 in accordance with budgetary appropriations and approvals as required by law. All bidders are required to comply with the following specified statutes and administrative regulations: N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seg.; N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action); P.L. 1963, C. 150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage); 42U.S.C. 12101,et. Seq. (American with Disabilities Act of 1990); P.L. 1977 ,C.33 (Stockholders Disclosure Statement) P.L. 1999 C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration Act) and P.L. 2004 C.57, as amended and supplemented. The contractor in also further notified that he must submit proof of business registration with the State of New Jersey of any named Subcontractors in accordance with the act. All bides must comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A; 11-23.2a. thru f. A pre bid inspection of the subject premises is required.
