Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of 10/19/2022 Project was cancelled, will not bid at this time and Source was not sure about the reason why. The major constructions include but are not limited to: site clearing and mobilization, traffic control, concrete sidewalk replacement, paver walkways, electrical improvements, concrete curb, belgian block curb, ADA ramps, HMA surface course paving, stormwater improvements, landscaping, two side free standing wall, site restoration, and all other incidentals appurtenant thereto as directed by the Engineer, in a neat, competent, and skilled manner. Drawings, specifications and forms of bid, contract and bond for the proposed work, prepared by James A. Bash, P.E., Van Cleef Engineering Associates have been filed in the office of said Engineer at 4 AAA Drive, Suite 103, Hamilton Township, New Jersey, 08691 and may be inspected there by prospective bidders during business hours. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms, in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Berkeley Heights, County of Union, New Jersey, and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. This project is being funded by the NJEIB and all requirements for that funding shall be followed. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10-5:31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17-27-1 et seq.
