The Township of Berkeley Heights is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide Affordable Housing Administrative Agent Services. The Affordable Housing Administrative Agent will be responsible for the administration of all affordable housing units within the municipality in accordance with the Fair Housing Act, N.J.S.A. 52-27D-301 et seq., the Uniform Housing Affordability Controls, N.J.A.C. 5:80-26.1 et seq., and all applicable Affordable Housing Regulations promulgated by the Council on Affordable Housing and Department of Community Affairs. The Administrative Agent must be duly certified in accordance with all applicable Affordable Housing Regulations. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria set forth in this RFQ. One or more individuals/firms may be selected to provide services. January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 The successful proposer shall be required to execute the Township's form contract, which includes the indemnification, insurance, termination and licensing provisions. It is also agreed and understood that the acceptance of the final payment by Contractor shall be considered a release in full of all claims against the Township arising out of, or by reason of, the work done and materials furnished under this Contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
