As of March 27, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. For New School This Project is not subject to the Project Labor Agreement (PLA). However, if the Contract Award Amount is greater than Three Million ($3,000,000) Dollars; then the Contractor has to have completed and submitted with its bid the Apprenticeship Questionnaire attached hereto as Appendix J. The Contractor have established, and/or participated in an appropriate apprenticeship-training program approved by the New York State Department of Labor and, where required by law, the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship Training. Each proposed Wicks Subcontractor the Contractor submitted with its bid has to, at the time of bid opening, have been a participant in or have established an apprenticeship-training program approved by the New York State Department of Labor. The SCA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to allow the apparent low bidder up to five (5) business days following SCA's notification, to meet the Solicitation's Apprenticeship Program requirements.
