Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lake Stevens, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Project Description: Snohomish County Public Works seeks to hire a consulting team to provide engineering and design services for spot safety improvements on 84th St NE Corridor from SR 9 to SR 92. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, preparation of technical reports, plans estimates and specifications (PS&E), and environmental permitting coordination. At this time, it is anticipated that Topographic Surveying will not be required, and County provided GIS mapping will be sufficient for developing the PS&E package. The County has received federal bridge program funding for this preventive maintenance project. There is a federal DBE requirement of 19% for this consultant contract. Design work under this RFQ includes, but is not limited to, engineering/permitting services, and technical reports. Estimated start date: June 1, 2023, and end date June 30, 2024. Scope and Nature of the project: The Department of Public Works seeks to hire a consulting team to provide engineering and design services for a safety improvement project. The following major items of work are anticipated: o Project Management o Quality Assurance/Quality Control o Project history and Design Documentation o Meeting Coordination oPreparation of technical reports o Preliminary Design o Final Design o Environmental Permitting Coordination The County reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s). Qualifications/Experience of Key Team Members 3. Approach to meet the DBE Goal 4. Ability to Adhere to Submittal Requirements 5. Pro-Forma Agreement Review 6. Legal Action 7.
