The effective date of Notice to Proceed, and thus the first day of the Contract Time, if this schedule is maintained, will be Saturday, April 8, 2023. 5. The Date of Substantial Completion shall be one-hundred and twenty (1200) calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed, or Saturday, April 9, 2023. This date shall be finalized at the time the contract is executed by the Contractor. The Date of Final Completion shall be fourteen (14) calendar days thereafter, as provided in the General Conditions. On Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2 p.m., bids will be publicly opened and read, by the Town Engineer in the Conference Room, Nags Head Municipal Complex 5401 S. Croatan Hwy., Nags Head, North Carolina. 3. On or about Thursday December 9, 2022, a Pre-Construction Meeting will be held jointly with the Town of Nags Head at a location to be announced. On this date, letters also will be sent by the Town staff to property owners affected by the project.
