Said Material/service is to be in accordance with the specifications. Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of the "Township of Aberdeen" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and the current requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 (Anti-Discrimination in Employment), N.J.S.A. et seq. (Equal Employment Opportunity), 42 U.S.C.s section 12101 et seq (Americans with Disabilities Act) N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 et seq (New Jersey Business Registration) and N.J.S.A. 52:15C-14(d) (N.J.A.C. 17:44-2.2) (Records Retention) and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed Work, which have been prepared by Francis W. Mullan, P.E., of the firm of T&M Associates, will be made available electronically or at the office of said Engineer at 11 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ, 07748.
