Clarification Deadline 11/9/2022 4:00 Pm The Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of approximately 3,000 LF of service lines requiring replacement (as defined in Section 01 12 16), the installation of water service curb stops, test pits to verify approximately 100 service lines requiring replacement, and associated restoration and appurtenances; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. Bids are requested for a single prime Contract. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply.
