The valuation maximum of $1,000,000.00 is for a single project amount. The type of projects may vary in size and there is no guarantee to the quantity of projects for completion within the specified term, and there may also be a wide range in total budget of each project, ranging from $1.00 to $1,000,000.00. The successful proponent shall carry out all responsibilities from project conception through to completion and warranty stages of each project. RDP reserves the right to separately procure scopes of services and work that are subject to the contract during the contract term, when deemed by RDP to be in its best interest or necessary due to grant and funding requirements. The General Contractor shall be the Prime Contractor as the term is defined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, R.S.A. 2020, c. O-2.2., and in no event shall RDP be considered to be the Prime Contractor or have any duties or obligations of a prime contractor. The General Contractor will hire and utilize the services of qualified trades/subcontractors with the required expertise to provide the Scope of Services outlined in each project by Red Deer Polytechnic and their Consultants.
