Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this project. All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the City's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org. The bid number shall be referenced in the email subject line. The questions deadline is October 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the City and will become addenda to this Bid. The work to be done under this contract includes: Reconstruction of lowa Street from 23rd Street to Irving Hill Road Bridge with approximately 27,500 square yards of concrete pavement. Also included are sidewalks, bored utility crossings, guardrails, storm sewers, water main, lighting, etc. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities.
