**As of December 1 2022, project was awarded to Parking Lot – Fox Contractors Corporation in the amount of $ 406,600.00 and Transportation Center Phase 2 – Sub Surface of Indiana $ 921,000.00 for a total of $1,327,600.00** CrossRoad Engineers will receive bids for the Center Grove Community School Corporation Parking Lot & Transportation Roadway Improvements Phase 2, all in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule, and Specifications. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The projects consist of the construction of a parking lot off Morgantown Road for the Center Grove Soccer Field. The parking lot includes underground detention, curbs, full depth pavement, landscaping, and ditch reroute. The Transportation Phase 2 projects consist of a private drive leading from the recently constructed Saddle Club approach. The 2100-foot private drive will be two 15-foot lanes primarily for bus traffic. Construction will also consist of earthwork, subgrade treatment, stone shoulders, ditch work, new storm sewer, and a hydrant relocation. Removal of concrete pads as well as excavation for increased capacity in an existing dry detention basin are also included within the project. All work is specified in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for said project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to Center Grove Community School Corporation. The bidder to whom a contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the School, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. The bidder must supply all the information required by the bid proposal form. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment request. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. Center Grove Community School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by Center Grove Community School Corporation, for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The minutes from this meeting and any responses to post pre-bid meeting questions, will be issued by end of day on Monday, November 7, 2022.
