The provisions in these documents shall be considered to supersede the requirements of the Standard Specifications. Plans, Specifications & Standard Specifications are on file at the office of the County Clerk at the Courthouse, El Dorado, Kansas, and are available for public inspection there or at the office of the Butler County Engineer, El Dorado. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier s Check acceptable to the County in an amount of at least of the proposal payable without condition to the County as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute such Contract in accordance with the proposal. A Bid Bond will be accepted in lieu of a Certified Check or Cashier s Check. Butler County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities.
