Site work and remodeling of a fire / police facility in Branson, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a 66,500-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Purpose: The City of Branson is requesting qualifications from architectural design firms or teams of architectural and engineering firms to provide complete design services, bid document preparation, and construction support services for the repurposing of city-owned building formerly known as the White House Theater to be used as a Public Safety Building. The city has acquired an 11-acre parcel of land located at 2255 Gretna Road (Exhibit 1 - White House Theatre Map is a location map and contour map of the site) that includes a 66,500 square foot building formerly known as the White House Theater. The city has completed a Spatial Needs Assessment and is ready to move forward with the design and construction of a public safety building at this site. The city intends to demolish the interior of the structure and repurpose as a Public Safety Building. As part of the due diligence to purchase the property and determine if the building was feasible to create a new home for the police department and fire administration department, a feasibility study was performed. (Attached as Exhibit 2 for reference) Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
