SCOPE: Daviess County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing 800-amp main #1 with a new 1200-amp unit in addition to adding new sub-panels at the Daviess County Courthouse per the project specifications. WORK SITE: Work will be performed at the Daviess County Courthouse, 212 St. Ann Street, Owensboro, KY 42303. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: The Contractor shall perform the following: a. Upgrade all electrical and HVAC systems per the Exhibit 1 Drawings- Electrical & HVAC Upgrade Project (Courthouse). b. Power shall remain on for the Courthouse throughout the week (Monday - Friday) for all regular business hours. Contractor shall only shut off electricity to the Courthouse on the weekends for the pursuit of work. c. Contractor must coordinate installation of new service with Owensboro Municipal Utilities. d. Contractor must apply for and obtain an electrical permit from OMPC for this project. e. Contractor will be responsible to repair any damage to the courthouse lawn. METHOD OF AWARD: This bid will be evaluated on the evaluation criteria established in the bid specification and awarded based on the best evaluated bid. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities in said bids. The right is reserved to award bids based on the best interest and/or what is most advantageous to the County. The County also reserves the right to consider as a part of the bid evaluation the stated warranty, stated delivery schedule and payment terms. Award will be made, according to the opinion of the Daviess County Fiscal Court, to the best evaluated bid.
