Site work for a golf course in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course.
As of December 19, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Owensboro is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to provide an assembled and installed sprinkler system at Ben Hawes Golf Course. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, Cashiers Check, or a Bid Bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surely thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. Bond shall be furnished within ten (10) working days after receipt of award notification. The contractor will be required to furnish a Payment Bond, satisfactory to the City, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to assure payment as required by any or all persons supplying labor and materials in the execution of the work provided herein. The Owner may make such investigations as he deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work, and the bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein.
