The scope of work for this project at the designated roof areas under this contract is considered to include, (but is not limited to), the following: 1. Solar Panel System: Existing solar panels and all associated supports and equipment is to be removed, stored for reuse, and reinstalled by Others. 2. All mechanical and electrical work is defined by the engineering drawings created by Campbell Spellicy Engineering. 3. Roof Demolition: a. Remove existing modified bitumen, granule surfaced built-up roof membrane and rigid insulation down to the existing steel structural deck. b. Remove all associated coping caps, scuppers, base and cap /counterflashings as required to install the new systems as specified and detailed. Clean and prepare all adjacent surfaces as needed to receive new flashing materials. c. Repair and/or replace any existing damaged or deteriorated materials per the unit price allowances as authorized by the Owner. Re-secure existing wood blocking to remain per fastening schedule. d. Remove existing lightning protection system from parapet, equipment and roof surfaces as needed to perform the work of this contract. Existing components to be saved, stored and protected for reuse.
