Site work for a water / sewer project in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Description: This project includes the installation of approximately 3,443 lineal feet of 8 ductile iron water pipe, including valves and hydrants, with approximately 54 water service reconnections, and the installation of approximately 1,256 lineal feet of 12 and 15 storm sewer, including inlets and manholes. Project Completion Date: November 22, 2023. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application. Contact the City Engineer at 330-263-5251 for all questions and requests for additional information.
