Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work of this contract generally consists of abrasive blast cleaning and application of a new coating on all interior and exterior surfaces of the Congress Street Tank in Milford, Massachusetts. Also, miscellaneous structural and safety repairs are required during the rehabilitation work. The Congress Street Tank is a 1.133 million gallon riveted and welded steel water storage tank with a height of approximately 84 feet and a diameter of 48 feet. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Each General Bidder shall submit a DCAM Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement for Painting with the bid.
