The Henry County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is seeking bids for Snow removal and salting for the property located at 4424 US Highway 34, Kewanee during the 2022-2023 winter season. Snow removal will include the wraparound parking lot, two entrances and all sidewalks. Salting will include the main (North) parking lot and all sidewalks. The OEM is an emergency services facility and should be given access priority. However, during low intensity events, snow removal and salting must be completed prior to 7:00 AM. Please direct questions to Director Schnepple at 309/937-3999 Qualifications: The contractor shall obtain and pay for all licenses and permits as may be required by law. The Contractor shall comply with all State and Local laws, ordinances, regulations and requirements applicable to the work herein. The Contractor shall provide proof of Commercial General Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance. Miscellaneous: In addition to the bid amount, additional assurances will be considered an integral part of the bid evaluation process. 1) Contractor's ability, capacity and skill to perform within the specified time. 2) Contractor's experience, reputation, efficiency, judgment and integrity. 3) The quality, availability and adaptability of the supplies and materials. 4) Sufficiency of contractor's financial resources to fulfill the contract. 5) Contractor's ability to provide future maintenance and/or services.
