Site work for a water / sewer project in Walnut Grove, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
No bids will be received after the time set forth hereinabove, and the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The work of constructing the AMR Water Meter Project - Material. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. 434 AMR Meters - 3/4" 2. 8 AMR Meters - 2" No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 150 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
