Site work for a water / sewer project in Walnut Grove, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of the Town of Walnut Grove Ground Storage Tank DWSRF Project No. FS010547-01 Contract 1 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein be-low: Principal Work: Ground Storage Tank 200,000-gallon capacity, clean and coat Interior and Exterior and make repairs. Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and doing the work of con-structing, according to Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents on file in the office of the Owner, the improvements hereinafter described. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 150 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly ob-served. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the con-tract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
