Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Walsenburg, Colorado. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Region: 2 Counties: Huerfano Projects: FBR025A-045, 22350 The main purpose of the project is the remove and replace the structure N-17-AD on I-25 at MP 50.055. In order to achieve this, class 2 and class 3 deck repair will be necessary on the adjacent bridge, N-17-AC. For traffic control during construction, median crossovers will need to be constructed. One major utility relocation is a sanitary/sewer line. For information only: Both structures N-17-AD and N-17-AC cross over Union Pacific and BNSF railroad lines as well as State Highway 10.
