Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Dauphin, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,240-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Work on this project includes the supply/install/construction of a new seasonal washroom/shower building (approximately 1240 square feet) including all site works and landscaping for Bakers Narrows Provincial Park Campground. The park includes 88 transient and seasonal camp sites along with 6 yurt camp sites. The bidder will be responsible for demolition of the existing building and hauling to a suitable dump site and for all aspects of the supply and installation of the building, foundation and systems on site. The building site is located at the south end of the campground between Bay 3 and Loops A, B and C. The existing washroom/shower building is of cinder block construction and sits between the main campground road and the foot of a large granite rock outcrop. There is currently a water line and power to the building as well as sewer connection to an adjacent lift station. Based on KGS Group's engineering assessments and design, these services will not require upgrading.
