The Gressel Drive Relocation project consists of theconstruction of 2,200 lineal feet of new roadway including asphalt pavement, concrete curbing, stormsewer, waterline, sanitary sewer and other miscellaneous items. Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents. Bids must be signed and submitted on the separatebidding forms included in the Bidding Documents,sealed in the provided envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in theamount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certifiedcheck, cashiers check, or letter of credit on asolvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% ofthe amount of the Bid, subject to conditions providedin the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a SuretyCompany or Corporation licensed in the State ofOhio to provide said surety. The successful Bidderwill be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to theState of Ohio prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements, and various equal employmentopportunity provisions. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days afterthe acutal date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject each andevery bid and to waive informalities, irregularitiesand errors in the bidding to the extent permitted bylaw.
