PROJECT NO: FDC-007-103025 Site Visit and Investigation A. Each bidder should visit the project site and acquaint themselves with the existing conditions and the activities involved prior to the time of bidding. The project site is located in Bald Eagle State Forest, Hartley Township, Union County. The site is on Sheesley Run Road, approximately 1.2 miles northeast from its intersection with SR 45. Work included under this contract consists of the removal of the existing structure carrying Sheesley Run Road over Sheesley Run consisting of an (approximate) 72 diameter corrugated metal pipe and associated dry laid stone headwalls and wingwalls and replace with a precast reinforced concrete arch culvert and precast reinforced concrete wingwalls, pedestals, headwalls and footings. The proposed replacement structure is to be a 16 span, with 6 rise and provide an 18 clear roadway width. Work also includes the replacement of the driving surface aggregate, associated guiderail, rock lining and architectural surface treatment to the exposed faces of the headwalls and wingwalls. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
