The City is seeking proposals to provide professional interior demolition to the City office buildings located at 118-120 E. Main St, Forney, TX 75126. The City invites responses to this RFP from qualified general contractors interested in providing a turnkey project inclusive of utility make-safe as detailed in construction documents and specifications provided by Parma Design dated 9/23/2022 Sheets G-001, D-101, D-102, and attached to the bid package. This RFP's scope of work includes demolition of interior non-load bearing walls, ceiling grid, ceiling tile, soffits, flooring, lighting fixtures, in-wall electrical, plumbing fixtures, HVAC flex duct/grills, and removal of all existing furniture. In addition, some selective demolition is noted in plans and specs related to the existing IDF closet. This scope of work is intended to be a continuous effort and require additional mobilizations. Bidders are required to provide all materials, equipment, and labor required for the interior demolition of the project, along with a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of the Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish not only a performance bond in the amount of the Contract but also a payment bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials.
