The City of Evanston's Public Works Agency is requesting information and a Statement of Qualifications from experienced firms: To perform Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of the City's combined sewer system. The Public Works Agency allocates approximately $700,000 annually for this type of rehabilitation work in sewer mains ranging in size from 8-inch diameter to 36-inch diameter. All potential Contractors must submit a qualification package whether or not they have previously been determined to be pre-qualified by the City of Evanston. Contractors deemed pre-qualified as part of this current process will be permitted to submit bids for this type of work in Evanston for the next three-year period (2023, 2024, & 2025). Only prequalified Contractors will be allowed to bid on these types of projects during this time period. Qualifications will be opened in private. The City (the City of Evanston) in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all firms that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract(s) entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the successful firm without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation marital status, disability, familial status or national origin. The State of Illinois requires under Public Works contracts that the general rate of wages in this locality be paid for each craft or type of worker hereunder. This requirement is in accordance with The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) as amended. The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City. Each Proposer shall be required to submit with his/her proposal a Disclosure of Ownership Interest Statement Form in accordance with Section 1-18-1 et seq. of the City Code. Failure to submit such information may result in the disqualification of such proposal.
