Installation of up to two Waterwheel Aquatic Floatable Trash Collectors located in the Trinity River, West and Clear Forks, located in Fort Worth, Texas. General Work Description: Supply and installation of mooring piles Supply and installation of helical piles Supply and installation of tether foundation and cables Supply and installation of floating booms Supply and installation of Waterwheel System and connection to installed moorings Supply and installation of required signage Supply and installation of erosion control devices The project name is ENV 22-07: WATERWHEEL The Proposal Documents submitted in accordance with this Request for Proposal shall remain valid for 180 days after the due date. All Providers must comply with: Chapter 17, "Human Relations," Article III, "Discrimination," Division 3, "Employment Practices," of the Code of the City of Fort Worth, prohibiting discrimination in employment practices. Fort Worth ordinance, 25-165-10-2021 Business Equity Ordinance. Chapter 2258 of the Texas Government Code, with respect to the payment of prevailing wage rates for public works contracts; The most recent revisions of applicable federal, state, and local laws, and the regulations established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), the City of Fort Worth and any other entity that may have jurisdiction over work being performed. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to City in writing on or before 2 p.m., the Monday prior to the Bid opening. A. Clear Fork 1. Supply and installation of three (3) mooring piles to secure the Waterwheel Trash Interceptor. 2. Supply and installation of four (4) helical piles to secure of floating booms. 3. Supply and installation of tether foundation and cables to Waterwheel. 4. Supply and installation of approximately 200 feet of floating booms (contractor to verify length in the field). 5. Supply and installation of the Waterwheel Trash Interceptor and connection to the mooring piles, tether foundation and floating booms w/ customizeable signage attached to unit. 6. Supply and installation of all signs and waterway markers. 7. Supply, installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control for onshore work area(s) and turbidity curtains for work in the Trinity River. B. West Fork Trinity River Site 1. Supply and installation of three (3) mooring piles to secure the Waterwheel Trash Interceptor. 2. Supply and installation of four (4) helical piles secure of floating booms. 3. Supply and installation of tether foundation and cables to Waterwheel. 4. Supply and installation of approximately 300 feet of floating booms (contractor to verify length in the field). 5. Supply and installation of the Waterwheel Trash Interceptor and connection to the mooring piles, tether foundation and floating booms w/ customizeable signage attached to unit. 6. Supply and installation of all signs and waterway markers. 7. Supply, installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control for onshore work area(s) and turbidity curtains for work in the Trinity River. C. The Contractor shall acquire the Waterwheel Trash Interceptors and floating booms from Clearwater Mills, LLC, located at 4965 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. No alternate or substitution will be accepted
